We raise Cornish cross broilers in a pasture-based model where the chickens are moved onto fresh pasture daily to forage. Birds that forage on grasses, clovers, and insects are not only healthier, but develop a richer flavor than chickens fed only a grain-based diet. We feed a locally milled grower ration to supplement the forage and ensure adequate and balanced nutrition for good health. The average weight of our processed broilers is 6 pounds.
